Lend me your ears,
It's just over 6 months since our identical twin boys Ollie & Tom were born three months early at the Queen Alexandra hospital in Portsmouth. I am pleased to report they are happy, healthy & growing at a rate which is likely to see them starting front row at Cranleigh Rugby Club by 2027. At the time of our greatest need the specialist staff who first helped us at St Georges in Tooting & then the Queen Alexandra Portsmouth saved their little lives. We were lucky.
In hindsight it seems pragmatic to have been a part of the Storks rugby team which was created by ex Brighton University Rugby players to raise money for the neo natal unit at St Georges. Along with these gallant rugby playing geniuses, myself, my brother & a couple of celebs are going to cycle the 75 miles in two teams in one day from St Georges in Tooting to the Queen Alexandra in Portsmouth & hope to raise £1000 from each team.
If you can chip in to raise funds for this life changing & life giving service, then we would all really appreciate it & hauling my giant arse from London to Portsmouth will have been worth it. If you are up for joining us at the start/finish or through the journey you are most welcome.
